This Saturday our game will be played at Auburn Golf Course at 6.30am. We will be playing stableford. We look forward to catching up and finally playing some golf.
Our next golf game will be at Woodville golf course on September 17 at 7.30am.

- VALE - JOHN COLEMAN
27TH MARCH 1934 – 6TH AUGUST 2022
JOHN COLEMAN began playing golf with the Dooleys Social Golf Club on the 25th March, 2000. This was the DOOLEYS 362nd game. JOHN was the 806th person to play with Dooleys. The last game John played with us was on the February 23, 2019. (Thanks to Terry Kenny for providing the statistics).
Sadly one of our dear friends and long time golfers – John Coleman passed away in tragic circumstances recently. John was always a happy, easy going and friendly gentleman. He had a dry and witty sense of humour. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends
- CONGRATULATIONS TO CHARLIE SCULLY
Charlie has been a loyal and long term golfer with Dooleys. He was recently awarded the Dempsey Medal from the Sydney Catholic Archdiocese. This is in recognition to outstanding voluntary work given to the Catholic community. Charlie has spent many years of service in many areas of the Berala Parish. Well done Charlie.

We are always looking for new players so do not be afraid to invite your partner, family and your friends to join our Social Group, as they would be most welcomed. Skill level is not important.
General information for golf days
Once player nominations are confirmed one week before play. Groups are sorted with numerous considerations taken into account. Examples being pairing players in carts, matching new players with experienced players, trying to accommodate players needing to leave early. Once we lock the draw in, it is important that all players arrive on time and are ready to play in their allocated groups. If for any reason you cannot play - sickness or an urgent matter arises, could you please ring or text Bernie on 0412 227 554. Preferably this would be done by the Friday prior to the game. Travel Time Distance approx. Three hours twelve minutes, 245 kilometres
Via M1 & New England Highway.
Via Putty Road 270 kilometres three hours forty-one minutes 270

Weather: Indication of the weather conditions we are likely have in September is in
he range of Minimum 9 degrees to Maximum 19 degrees
But would be wise to bring some warm clothing.

Meal Arrangements: Friday Night after Motel Check in, make your way across the road to the Muswellbrook RSL / Golf Club at any time after say 5.30pm for meet and greet for drinks and a meal at your own expense.
Dinner Sat Night: The Dinner for Saturday night is a two- course alternate drop meal at the Muswellbrook RSL who own the Golf Course.

1.Grilled Barramundi served with Chips or Salad alternate
2 Three Lamb Cutlets served with Mash and Vegetables
Desserts:
1. Alternate drop Apple Pie and Ice Cream
2.Sticky Date Pudding.
Meal Cost: Thirty- five dollars per head.

Saturday 24th September No Tee time before Noon. Suggest we be at the
Golf Club by no later 11.30 on Saturday

Golf Cart Fees $40 per cart each day. Share cart cost $20 each.

Barbecue Sunday: We are checking with the Golf Club if we will be able to use the barbecue facilities on Sunday after the game.
