GOLF COMMITTEE NEWS:

At our recent golf committee meeting, it was agreed by the committee that we modify some of our competitions to make them more relevant to our playing group. These competitions are explained below. But, basically we have aligned our Championship Grade Trophies with people that have either served the Dooleys Main Club or Dooleys Golf Club well over the years. We have had to reduce the amount of competitions, thus the changes.

In addition to the previously named trophies, the newly  named trophies are now named after the following people

- Fred Delaney {a long term Dooleys Club member, Dooleys board member and Dooleys golfer}.

- Denis Collins {a long term Dooleys golfer, golf committee member, handicapper}

- Bill Belkovski {a long term Dooleys Club member, Dooleys board member, Golf Club Patron}

- Steve Woods {a long term golfer, a long term golf committee President and committee member}

We believe that it is timely that we recognise these people for their contributions to our club.

Robbo, givuzzanaddabeerwillya? I'll pay you next week'
Robbie, the publican points out the window and says to Ricky, 'See that building across the road?'
'Yeah...' says Ricky, squinting'. Well, that
is the Bank of Victoria, and I got a deal with them.'

 'Deal? Wot deal?' mutters Ricky.

Robbie, well, Ricky, they don't sell beer, and I don't lend money.'
