It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Beth Kenny, wife of Terry Kenny on 24/6/23.

A wonderful woman and a great support to her husband Terry. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Our commiserations and prayers go out to Terry at this time.

Next game is at Auburn on 19th August at 6.30am.

Golf Committee meeting: 28th August 7pm at Dooleys Regents Park.

With the current FIFA women’s world cup about to begin, we thought an inspirational quote from a soccer player would be good:

When you’re feeling like you aren’t good enough, just remember that no matter how naturally talented you are, or aren’t - there is no substitute for hard work. Think tortoise vs hare - the hare thought he was better and faster than the tortoise and became arrogant. Whilst the tortoise knew he just had to work harder and won the race as a result.
