Cootamundra Golf weekend wrap up

This year we ventured to a quiet country town called Cootamundra. From start to finish we were pleasantly surprised. The hospitality and friendliness from all the town folk we had the pleasure of meeting, couldn’t be faulted. The weather was great, the motel was comfortable and right on the golf course and right next to the club. We started with 20 players on Saturday and 19 players on Sunday. The course was challenging, yet forgiving in other ways. All of our players enjoyed the experience. The Saturday night dinner at the Country Club was well attended with 34 people present. After our Sunday game we had our lunch time BBQ and main presentation. Congratulations to our overall winner: Jenny Delaney, being our inaugural winner of the Peter Kennedy Country Shield. Congratulations also to our Saturday and Sunday winners, with the prizes being shared well! By all accounts from players, wives, partners and friends, it was a great weekend. Also a BIG thankyou again to Bruce and Robyn (who I’m sure has worked behind the scene) for all their hard work in making it a successful weekend for everyone!!
