RETURED PLAYER’S
Last month we saw the return of two players we have not seen for over 12 months. KEVIN CAVANAGH who began playing with us at Parklea in April 1968 and last played with us in September 2017 having attended 214 games. DENNIS SMITH began playing with us at Greenlands in February 1971 and last played with us in February 2016 having attended 31 Games. It is great to see these players returning and it is hope that they can continue playing with us. We need to see former players returning and new players joining our ranks.
GOLF DINNER
It is proposed that we hold the annual Golf Dinner once again at DOOLEYS – Waterview on Saturday evening 1ST June.
The cost will be provided in the next issue of Divots.
Menu will be similar to last year with platters being served for all courses

GOLF SHIRTS and GOLF BADGES
The Golf Club does have its own Golf Shirt and Golf Badge.
Each member is expected to have and to wear the Shirt and Badge.
Golf Shirts only coats $15. The cost is subsidized by the Golf Club.
Golf Badges only cost $5. The cost is subsidized by the Golf Club.
Golf Badges are replaced free of charge when a milestone is reached.
A lot of golfers have received a milestone badge but have never purchased a badge.

ELIGIBILITY for PERPETUAL TROPHIES
To be eligible for a Perpetual Trophy you must attend EIGHT (8) games between the last in the previous year and the second last game in November of the current year. That is EIGHT (8) GAMES OUT OF TWELVE (12) GAMES scheduled to be played.
CHARITY
This year your Golf Committee has decided to support two (2) girl’s orphanages in East Timor. Two of our members namely PETER KENNEDY and DENIS COLLINS do a lot of fund raising for charities in East Timor.
Also the money collected for the ECLECTIC will also be donated to this cause.
The $100 prize money for the ECLECTIC will come from Golf Club funds.

Nominations and cancellations close on the SUNDAY EVENING PRIOR to the game to allow for catering and confirmation of bookings. IRRESPECTIVE of REASON, the amount of $5 will be charged for those who have nominated for a game but have not attended.
