Last game thirty (30) players turned out for the game at SEFTON. There were six (6) late withdrawals. Also, there were four new players who have recorded their first official game with the DOOLEY’S Social Golf Club. Unfortunately, it was a late start and a day when we had no BBQ or Raffle. Prizes won on the day will be distributed today.

A Happy and Healthy New Year to all and a warm welcome to the DOOLEYS Social Golf Club for the 2021 season. Let us hope this year will not be interrupted by Covid virus. Last year all Intra Club competitions were suspended from the 22nd March and there were no competitions for Championships and Perpetual Trophies. As I pen this article it is hoped that at the Intra Club meeting on the 4th February most activities will be able to resume and we will receive the normal vouchers and financial backing from the club and we will be able to play for all our trophies.
